How to Set Your Schedule

*Note: The Schedule feature is only available to drivers in Colorado at this time. 

As a driver with Shipt, you have the flexibility to create your own schedule and select the areas, days, and times you'd like to receive offers. Once you have indicated that you want to receive offers by selecting those hours on the Schedule screen in the app, you will begin to receive route offers based on your schedule. You can select any available hour on the schedule, however, keep in mind that you’re more likely to receive offers for pickup times from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

To complete your schedule, you will need to select the days and pickup windows for which you would like to receive offers. You’ll also be able to select offer preferences for route size and delivery distance.
 

Setting Your Schedule

You can indicate the hours that you’d like to receive offers for up to 7 days in advance.

  • From the main menu, select Schedule.
  • Tap on a pickup window to add it to your schedule.
  • To schedule yourself for upcoming days, tap the date from the top of the Schedule screen.

If something changes and you are no longer able to receive offers for the times you’ve selected on the Schedule screen, you can remove yourself from the schedule for any of your selected delivery windows.
*Note: Claimed routes will stay on your schedule if you remove yourself from a pickup window, but you can drop the route if needed.

  • To remove a single delivery window from your schedule, tap it to deselect it. 
  • To remove yourself from all pickup windows for a day, tap Remove All at the bottom of the Schedule screen.
     

Scheduling FAQ

Why is indicating that I want to receive offers using the schedule important? 

  • Indicating that you want to receive offers using the schedule allows you to:
    • Receive offers for Available Routes during the times you’d like to pick them up
    • Plan your days by building your schedule efficiently, which can have a positive impact on your Driver Stats.
    • Review orders ahead of time so you're prepared when you head to the store.


How far in advance can I set my schedule? 

  • You can indicate that you’d like to receive offers using the schedule up to 7 days in advance.


What if I no longer want to receive offers after I've set my schedule? 

  • If for some reason you no longer want to receive offers, you can remove upcoming pickup windows from your schedule. It’s best to edit your schedule as soon as you know you’re unavailable to prevent a poor experience for the customer and the sortation center, and keep your day on track. After removing a pickup window, you will no longer receive route offers for that time.
  • If you've already claimed an order during a pickup window you can no longer pick it up, you may drop the order.


Do I need to let Shipt know if I plan to take time off and not deliver for a while? 

  • As a driver with Shipt, you have the flexibility to create your own schedule and decide when you want to complete routes. You do not need to inform Shipt if you plan to take time off and not deliver for a while. Whenever you're ready to start delivering again, you'll be able to jump back on the schedule and claim Available Routes.
